Guide: Seller Account Verification

Due to financial regulations, our payment processor (Stripe) must verify your/your business' details before you can sell maps with omaps.io. This guide will help you through the verification process. The verification information shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to fill, assuming you have all the required information available.

1. Adding a Bank Account

You must attach a valid bank account to your account before you can receive payouts. You can add a bank account at https://omaps.io/account/#seller.

2. Submitting Verification Information

You can submit your verification information directly to Stripe by going to https://omaps.io/account/#verification. Please note that the information required by Stripe depends on your country, so the information on this guide may not be exact.

2.1 Verification for Individual Accounts

To verify an individual account, you need to provide your full name, date of birth, home address, email address and business website. For business website you should use a link to your omaps.io profile - visit your profile to find out the URL.

2.2 Verification for Company Accounts

To verify a company account, you need to provide:

• Business details (legal name, business ID, address, website*, product description**)
• Personal details (name, date of birth, address, email) of the person creating the account (known as "Account Representative")
• Information on each beneficial owner, director and executive of the company (name, date of birth, email)

* For business website you should use a link to your omaps.io profile - visit your profile to find out the url.
** For product description you can simply write "Orienteering maps".

2.3 Verification for Organizations (clubs)

To verify an account that was made for an organization such as orienteering clubs, you need to provide:

• Organization ("Business") details (legal name, registration ID, address, website*, product description**)
• Personal details (name, date of birth, address, email) of the person creating the account (known as "Account Representative")

** For product description you can simply write "Orienteering maps".
