What is omaps.io?

omaps.io is an online marketplace for orienteering maps. Orienteering clubs, companies and individuals across the world can use omaps to sell orienteering courses, maps and training packages.

How does it work?

Thanks to omaps.io, you can now purchase orienteering maps like any other items from a modern webshop. We then deliver the maps to you using the delivery method of your choice.

What payment methods do you support?

You can pay for your maps with all credit/debit cards. We also support Klarna, SEPA direct debit and others.

How are the maps delivered?

You can choose from 3 different delivery methods for your maps:

Digital Delivery
If you select this delivery method, you will be able to download the map file and then just print it yourself! Easy as that.

omaps.io Print & Delivery
We print your maps in high quality and send them to you by mail.

Pickup
Some sellers may have a location or two where you can go and pick up your maps after the purchase.

After Purchase

I purchased a map. What now?

You should already have received an email confirmation for your order. In the email you can find instructions how to access your maps.

How can I leave feedback for the map?

There are several ways. You can message the seller directly with the "Send Message" button on their profile, or you can leave a comment on the map page. You can also leave a star rating on the map page.

I want a refund, what should I do?

Please contact us using the contact form on this page. If the items haven't been delivered yet or the map differs significantly from the seller's description, we will happily refund your purchase.

How can I become a seller?

After you have created an account, go to the Become a Seller page to create a seller account. For more instructions, check out this guide.

Who can become a seller?

Orienteering clubs, companies and individuals are all welcome to sell on omaps.io. You don't need a business entity to sell on omaps.io.

You can become a seller if you/your business are located in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

What fees are there?

Short version: No fees or costs until you make a sale. If you make a sale, we take a small cut.

What can I sell?

On omaps.io you can sell:
- Orienteering courses
- Orienteering maps (without course)

You can also make packages out of the maps you've uploaded. You must be the copyright owner of the maps you are selling or authorized to sell them on behalf of the owner.

How do I get paid?

You get paid on a monthly basis directly to the bank account you have provided. Read more from this guide.

Can I use other currencies than EUR?

Of course, upon creating your seller profile you can choose your account's currency. Your products are then sold in the selected currency and payouts are also sent using that currency.

What information do I need to provide?

You need to get your account verified before you can publish maps on omaps. To get your account verified, our payment processor needs to verify your identity/business details. Read more from this guide.

How are the items delivered?

You can choose the available delivery methods for each map you upload. There are several options, read more from this guide.

What about taxes?

The seller is responsible for any tax obligations that may occur from your sales on omaps.io. You can generate detailed monthly sales reports from your seller dashboard to help you with calculating taxes.

All prices on omaps.io are VAT inclusive so if you are VAT liable, include it in your prices.
