Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect on omaps.io and what we do with it.

omaps.io is run by Paper Hands Ltd (Business ID 3259866-8), Finland. If you have questions about your data, email us at omaps@omaps.io.

• Account details: your name, email address and phone number if you add one
• Order details: what you bought, your billing and shipping address, and anything you write to the seller at checkout
• Messages and comments you send on omaps.io
• GPS tracks you upload to Replay
• For sellers: shop details, sales and payout information
• Technical data such as your IP address, browser and login history

We don't store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider.

• To run your account, process orders, deliver maps and pay sellers
• To keep omaps.io secure and prevent misuse
• To send you emails about your orders, and notifications you have chosen to receive
• To keep accounting records, as required by law
• If you allow it, to see how the site is used through analytics

We use your data to fulfil our agreement with you, to meet our legal obligations and to keep the service secure. Analytics, notifications and published Replay routes are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

• When you buy a map, the seller gets what they need to fulfil your order: your name, email address, the items you ordered and your address if the order is shipped.
• Published Replay routes, comments and shop pages are visible to other users.
• We use trusted service providers for hosting, payments, email, analytics, printing and delivery. They only process data on our behalf.
• Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. When they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or a similar safeguard.

We don't sell your data.

We use cookies that the site needs to work, for example to keep you logged in and to remember your cart and language. Analytics cookies are only used if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

• Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
• Orders and receipts are kept for 6 years from the end of the financial year, as Finnish accounting law requires.
• Login and security logs are kept for 12 months.
• Backups are kept for 1 year.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or to send you a copy of it. You can also object to how we use it. Just email omaps@omaps.io. Some data, like order records, we have to keep by law.

You can also file a complaint with a data protection authority.

If we make important changes to this policy, we'll let you know on the site or by email.
