What is omaps.io?
omaps.io is an online marketplace for orienteering maps. Clubs, companies, and individuals around the world can use omaps.io to sell orienteering maps (with or without a course) to orienteers.
How does buying a map work?
You can buy maps just like in any modern online store. The map is delivered using the delivery method you choose, either as a PDF file, printed or picked up from the seller.
How can I pay for my purchase?
We support a wide range of payment methods, for example: bank/credit card, Klarna, Swish, bank transfer (invoices).
How are the maps I bought delivered?
We offer multiple delivery options: digital delivery (download a PDF), omaps.io Print & Delivery service. Sellers can also choose to offer pickup from specific locations. Delivery options vary by seller.
After purchase
I bought a map. What's next?
You'll find the order confirmation and delivery instructions in your email.
Can I leave feedback on a map?
Yes. You can message the seller via their profile, or leave a comment on the map's page.
Can I cancel an order?
Normally, an order cannot be cancelled if the maps have already been downloaded or shipped.
Selling maps
How can I become a seller?
Opening a shop on omaps.io is easy. Just create your personal omaps.io account and go to the Become a seller page, where you'll find detailed instructions on how to set up your shop.
Who can become a seller?
Clubs, companies, and individuals who are based in Europe. Opening a shop requires a valid European bank account and identity verification.
Is selling maps free?
Creating and maintaining an account is completely free. We only take a small commission from your sales. Learn more about pricing
What can I sell?
On our service you can sell ready-made trainings, orienteering maps (without printed courses), and create packages from the maps you've uploaded. You must own the copyright to the maps you sell.
How do I get my money?
You will receive your earnings from sales directly to your bank account on a monthly basis.
What does opening an account require?
Our payment provider verifies your identity when you open an account. The process typically takes less than 10 minutes.
How does taxation work?
As a seller, you're responsible for your own tax obligations. You'll receive detailed sales reports to help with bookkeeping.
